Also published today is the seven week package of resources for a Y5&6 afterschool Maths club that you can download and use. This is based on squares and rectangles and contains a variety of activities, investigations and games.

The first feedback on this from an experiences year six teacher is “This looks good, Rose. Overall my impression is that you have created a very teacher friendly pack which allows non specialist a framework which is accessible and not too wordy or heavy. After a full day at school something that you can just pick up and run with is a great resource. The maths concepts are clear and the children will definitely benefit from this”.
