Today we looked at different ways of making heart shapes.
We drew curves with a ruler! Begin with the frame (see below) and in each corner, join numbers that add to ten with a sloping line. When all six corners are completed you should have a heart shape which appears to be made from curves. Some members if the club then worked on improving the frame shape to get an even better heart shape. Tricky question – are any of the curves part of the edge of a circle, or are they a different kind of curve?
